This notice applies exclusively to applicants who require an official invoice for the purpose of:

Military COOL program funding (all branches)
Company-sponsored training
Employer funding authorizations
Payment plan invoicing (when approved in advance by management)

This process is for invoicing purposes only and **does not constitute enrollment, class reservation, or acceptance into any course.

America’s Best AMT Courses accepts USAF COOL, Army COOL, Navy COOL, Marine Corps COOL, Coast Guard COOL, and other approved military and employer funding programs. The Student Agreement referenced for this intake is used strictly to: 1. Collect required applicant information 2. Generate an official, itemized invoice 3. Support submission of funding requests through the appropriate portal (e.g., AFVEC, ArmyIgnitED, MyCG Ed, Navy/USMC COOL, or equivalent systems) This agreement does not: • Reserve a seat • Lock in course dates • Confirm enrollment • Replace the official enrollment agreement

For invoicing and administrative processing purposes: • A civilian (non-.mil) email address is required to generate and deliver official invoices • Military (.mil) email addresses cannot be used for invoice issuance or billing correspondence • Applicants must select and identify their military branch during intake to ensure proper invoice formatting and funding alignment Failure to provide a valid civilian email address may delay invoice creation and funding submission.

After payment of the invoice is received, all applicants—including military and company-funded students—are required to: 1. Execute the official 12-Day Student Enrollment Agreement 2. Acknowledge and accept all school policies and procedures 3. Acknowledge all applicable FAA, DoD, VA, and institutional regulations 4. Select from available class dates at that time Enrollment is not finalized until all post-payment requirements are completed and confirmed.

Applicants remain solely responsible for: • Obtaining funding approval from their command, employer, or education office • Meeting all COOL program eligibility, documentation, and submission requirements • Ensuring compliance with branch-specific reimbursement, testing, exam completion, and recoupment rules America’s Best AMT Courses will provide reasonable administrative guidance based on experience with military funding programs; however, we cannot submit applications, secure approvals, or assume responsibility for compliance on behalf of the applicant.

This document is provided solely for informational and quick-reference purposes to assist applicants in understanding, at a high level, how U.S. military Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) programs may be used toward approved certification and credentialing goals. It is not an advertisement, solicitation, or endorsement of any school, course, or training provider.

All COOL programs are governed by Department of Defense (DoD), and individual Service Branch policies, including but not limited to official DoD manuals, service-specific education handbooks, credentialing guidance, and funding regulations (e.g., Air Force/Space Force education and credentialing handbooks, ArmyIgnitED guidance, Navy and Marine Corps COOL policies, and Coast Guard Credentialing Assistance instructions).

Each military branch maintains distinct and enforceable requirements regarding:

Eligibility and approval authority
Authorized expenses
Reimbursement or direct-pay procedures
Exam completion and grade/result submission
Recoupment or repayment in cases of non-completion or failure

Applicants are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with the most current official guidance published by their respective service branch and the DoD. Policies may change without notice, and superseding guidance issued by the military takes precedence over any summary contained in this guide.

While America’s Best AMT Courses is an approved training provider for applicable COOL programs, applicants may attend any authorized or approved institution in accordance with their branch’s credentialing rules. Use of this guide does not require enrollment with our organization.

Our role is limited to providing general guidance and support based on experience with military credentialing programs. We cannot submit applications, secure approvals, or ensure compliance on behalf of an applicant.

Military COOL Programs

What each branch pays for

The Marine Corps COOL program primarily pays for credential-related fees, not training. It operates as a voucher system, not a training reimbursement program. What USMC COOL Pays For 1. Exam Fees – Initial certification exam costs 2. Renewal Fees – Costs to renew certifications 3. Maintenance Fees – Annual fees to keep credentials active 4. Application Fees – Certain credential-related application costs What USMC COOL Does NOT Pay For 1. Training Courses or Classes 2. Study Materials – Books, guides, practice tests 3. Tuition – Academic or prep programs Eligibility Notes • Must meet service requirements • Typically requires at least 6 months remaining on enlistment How It Works 1. Find approved credentials on the Marine Corps COOL website 2. Request exam vouchers before testing 3. Take the exam once approved Other Funding Options • Tuition Assistance (TA) – For courses and training • GI Bill – Can reimburse exam fees (up to $2,000 per test)

The Navy COOL program pays for the core costs of civilian credentials, but usually not training or study materials. Pre-approval is required before committing to anything. What Navy COOL Pays For 1. Exam Fees – Certification or license exams 2. Application Fees – Credential application costs 3. Maintenance & Renewal Fees – Ongoing credential costs 4. Reimbursement – Exam fees may be reimbursed if direct payment is not possible What Navy COOL Typically Does NOT Pay For 1. Study Materials – Books, prep courses 2. Training Programs – TA may help cover these Key Eligibility & Rules • Pre-approval is mandatory • Usually requires 1 year remaining on service obligation • E-6 and above nearing retirement may still qualify No repayment required if you fail an exam

The Coast Guard COOL (Credentialing Assistance) program is one of the most flexible. It reimburses approved credentialing expenses after you pay upfront. Annual Funding Cap • Up to $4,500 per fiscal year (Oct 1 – Sep 30) What USCG COOL Pays For 1. Credential Exams 2. Training & Courses 3. Study Materials – Books and prep materials 4. Fees – Maintenance, renewal, and membership dues Important Notes • Reimbursement program (you pay first) • Funds are first-come, first-served • Cannot be used for credentials required for your job • Approved credentials listed on the DoD COOL website How It Works 1. Find an eligible credential 2. Apply through MyCG Ed 3. Get approval from your ESO 4. Pay upfront 5. Submit proof and get reimbursed

The Air Force & Space Force COOL program provides broad credentialing support with a lifetime funding cap. Lifetime Funding Limit • $4,500 per person (lifetime) What AF COOL Covers 1. Exams & Testing Fees 2. Books & Study Materials – Up to $500 per goal 3. Application & Recertification Fees 4. Approved Training or Coursework Eligible Credentials • AFSC-related • Leadership / management • Non-AFSC credentials (IT, healthcare, project management, etc.) Eligibility (General) • Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, Space Force • Must meet fitness standards • Must hold Skill Level 5 in AFSC How It Works 1. Create a credential goal in AFVEC 2. Obtain itemized quotes 3. Submit funding request 4. School office pays vendors directly 5. Upload exam results after completion Important Reminder • Repayment may be required in accordance with Air Force COOL policy if exam requirements, reporting, or completion obligations are not met.

The Army COOL CA program is designed to cover training and credentialing costs, making it one of the most comprehensive programs. What Army COOL Pays For 1. Training Courses – Online, classroom, or blended 2. Exams – Certification testing fees 3. Study Materials – Books, lab fees, LMS access 4. Maintenance – Recertification fees and CEUs Funding Limits • Typically $2,000 per year • One credential per year • Up to three credentials in a decade (policy dependent) Eligibility • Active Duty • Army Reserve • National Guard Key Rules • Exam must be taken after training • Failure to test may result in recoupment of funds How to Apply • Find credentials on the Army COOL website • Submit requests through ArmyIgnitED
