America’s Best AMT Courses Opens Its New Training Facility
More space, more capability, and a facility built around the people who keep aviation moving.
We have spent years telling students that preparation matters. When it came time to build our next facility, we decided the same standard had to apply to us. The result is a new home in Goodyear that gives America’s Best AMT Courses room to teach, test, meet with industry partners, and continue building the aviation-maintenance workforce we have been committed to since 2013.
A Facility That Feels Like Aviation
From the moment you walk in, the new location feels different. This was never supposed to look like a generic office with a few aviation posters added at the end. We wanted the building itself to reflect the people who come through our doors - aircraft mechanics, military maintainers, experienced technicians, students, exam candidates, employers, and aviation professionals.
That is why aviation runs through the entire facility. Turbine engines, propeller aircraft, military aircraft, historic aviation scenes, and America’s Best branding appear throughout the offices, meeting rooms, doors, reception areas, and instructional spaces. Those details give the building its personality, but they also serve a purpose. Students know immediately that they are in a place built for their profession.
The new location is at 1300 S. Litchfield Road, Building 210, Suite D, Goodyear, Arizona. For us, the move is much more than a new address. It is the next step in the growth of America’s Best AMT Courses and America’s Best Aviation Group.
We wanted a place that students would be proud to train in - and a place that reflects the seriousness of the career they are working toward.
The Classroom Is Still the Heart of What We Do
No matter how much the company grows, the classroom remains the center of the operation. Our students come to us with a goal, and many of them are working on a very tight timeline. They are here to study, prepare, ask questions, take exams, and move forward in their careers.
The new main classroom gives us a much stronger environment for that work. It is open, bright, and large enough to support a full class without making students feel packed together. Each student has a dedicated workspace for a laptop, FAA references, notes, course material, and the long study sessions that come with an accelerated program.
Large digital displays make it easier for instructors to work through technical material with the entire room. Whiteboards remain in place because sometimes the best way to explain a difficult subject is still to draw it out, work the problem, and talk through it together. The technology is there to support the instructor - not replace the instructor.
The high ceilings, exposed steel, ductwork, polished concrete, and open industrial design also fit the work we do. It feels closer to aviation than a traditional school hallway ever could.
Designed Around the Student Experience
A student’s experience is not limited to the hours spent sitting in class. There are documents to review, tests to schedule, questions to answer, study plans to adjust, and sometimes a little encouragement needed along the way. The new facility gives our administrative team more room to handle those responsibilities without everything happening in the same space.
We now have dedicated reception and waiting areas, offices, meeting rooms, instructional areas, and workspaces for the staff who support students before, during, and after class. That separation makes the operation more organized and gives students a more professional experience from the first day they arrive.
Built for More Than Classes
America’s Best has grown beyond a single classroom operation. On any given week, we may be working with an individual mechanic, a military candidate, an employer-sponsored student, a workforce agency, an international technician, or an aviation company looking for a better way to move experienced people toward FAA certification.
That work requires space to sit down and have real conversations. The new offices and conference areas give us places to meet privately with students, employers, partners, and visiting representatives. They also give our staff the room to coordinate schedules, documentation, testing, and the many details that happen behind the scenes.
We intentionally gave those rooms their own aviation character. A turbine-engine wall graphic fills one office. A large propeller aircraft anchors another meeting room. Even interior doors have been turned into aviation artwork. It keeps the building connected to the industry no matter which room you are in.
A Better First Impression
The front of the facility has also changed significantly. Our reception area now gives students, testing candidates, visitors, and partners a proper place to check in and wait. The larger administrative counter provides space for our team to work while keeping the front of the operation organized.
That matters to us. People travel from across Arizona, from other states, and in some cases from outside the country to come through our programs. Employers and government representatives also visit our operation. We want the first impression to match the level of work taking place behind the doors.
Technology Where It Helps - Hands-On Support Where It Matters
Aviation maintenance is increasingly digital, and the certification process requires students to be comfortable working with computers, online resources, technical references, and testing systems. The new facility was planned with that reality in mind.
Large displays, dedicated student workspaces, upgraded connectivity, and organized administrative systems help us deliver instruction and manage the testing process more efficiently. At the same time, our approach remains personal. Students still work directly with instructors and staff. They still ask questions face-to-face. They still sit down, work the material, and put in the hours.
We have always believed that accelerated training only works when the student is fully engaged and the support around that student is strong. A better facility helps us provide that support without changing the part of our program that matters most: direct preparation and accountability.
Supporting the Full A&P; Certification Journey
America’s Best AMT Courses works with qualified aircraft maintenance professionals preparing for FAA mechanic certification and related advancement. Our programs include accelerated A&P; preparation, Airframe and Powerplant preparation options, Oral & Practical preparation, Inspection Authorization preparation, and other focused training for aviation maintenance professionals.
These programs are intensive by design. Students are not coming here for a casual seminar. They are working toward a professional credential that can change the direction of their careers. That is why the environment matters. The new facility gives us more room to support the knowledge-test preparation, oral review, practical preparation, scheduling, and administrative coordination that are all part of the process.
Growing With the Aviation Workforce
The move also comes at an important time for the industry. Aviation employers continue to need experienced maintenance professionals, and there are talented technicians throughout the military, the civilian workforce, and international markets who are looking for a path to the next level of their careers.
America’s Best has been working to help close that gap. Our relationships now reach beyond individual enrollment and include employers, military and workforce programs, and other aviation organizations. We are also continuing to grow our work in Mexico, creating a pathway for experienced technicians who meet the requirements and are pursuing U.S. FAA certification.
The new Goodyear facility gives the U.S. side of that operation a stronger foundation. It gives us more capacity, a more professional place to host partners, and the infrastructure to keep growing without losing the focused environment that built our reputation.
The Mission Has Not Changed
A new building can make a company look different, but it should not change why the company exists. America’s Best AMT Courses was built to help mechanics get across the finish line. That is still the mission.
Over the years, we have watched students arrive with years - sometimes decades - of maintenance experience but without the FAA credential they wanted. We have seen military maintainers transition toward civilian opportunities. We have worked with students who traveled long distances because they were ready to finish what they started.
Those are the people this facility was built for.
Every desk, display, office, classroom table, meeting space, and piece of aviation artwork is part of a larger investment in the student experience. We wanted to create a place that shows people we take their goal seriously.
Built for What Comes Next
We are proud of how far America’s Best has come, but we do not see the new facility as a finish line. We see it as a platform for the next stage of the company.
We will continue working with individual mechanics. We will continue supporting military and civilian students. We will continue building relationships with employers and workforce partners. We will continue expanding our international efforts. And we will continue improving the way we prepare aviation maintenance professionals for the certifications and opportunities they are pursuing.
The building gives us more room to do all of that. More importantly, it gives our students a home that matches the ambition they bring with them.
